Improving livelihoods through seedlings

As a way of supporting the Organization economically and empower communities, FIST raises coffee seedlings, Oranges, mangos and many other fruit seedlings. The farms are used for demonstration. Communities are trained and encouraged to plant fruit trees in their compounds.

Economic empowerment largely contributes to improved standards of living among in communities. FIST therefore empowers people especially the vulnerable groups like women through capacity building and agricultural programs. FIST provides farmers with coffee, Oranges, Mango seedlings.

FIST also works hand in hand with Operation Wealth Creation teams that help FIST identify more individuals in need of coffee, mango and orange seedlings.
